Who are we?

Here's a little story about Gold Coast Magazine, and it's just the beginning

We're an online magazine from the Gold Coast of Australia, as our name suggests.
We set out a little over a decade ago to share the great people, places, and stories of our city. We've since grown to become a nationally read source of news & entertainment for over 80,000 people.

We're proud to be locally owned and independent, with a team of local and international writers providing great content and great experiences.
Launching in 2007 as the countries first digital publication, we've continued a tradition of being a leader in the media sector with our frequent innovations and coverage.

Who are our amazing readers, and where do they come from?

Our readers are a great bunch of people if we do say so ourselves; they are a diverse bunch mainly located here on the Gold Coast or South East Queensland but with tens of thousands situated in over 5000 cities around the globe.

They have many interests, including Tech, Music, Travel and Fashion and one thing in common, they actively seek out new experiences and like to stay informed and up to date with what's on, what's new and who's going where.

The average income of our readers sits around 70k to 120k and they are likely to spend a minimum $100 a week on non essential experiences or products.


Something our readership takes seriously is loyalty and they are likely to frequent favourite establishments, purchase the same brands and read the same publications.
